There are 9 universes in our environment and the original plan is to create a unique userid per universe. However, the difficulty is our daily report universe and monthy report universe are using by many departments, we can't tell which department consume most of the Teradata resources by department view.

Besides, we purchased unlimited BO user licenses and we are actually create named users for each BO user right now. I saw a document that said we may have BO name user to pass through BO Universe Connection / ODBC then to Teradata. However, from DBA's perspective it's not make sense to create hundards of accounts in Teradata.

Is there any good mapping mechanism that can map BO name users to Teradata department accounts?
