We are moving from V2R3 to V2.R6.1. Currently one of the applications on a SUN SPARC server uses Version 3.01 Type 3 JDBC connection methods.
Version 3.03 released with TTU 8.1 appears to only supports Type 4 JDBC.
We have not been able to use older versions of ODBC or winCLI with V2R6.1 because of deprecated (encrypted) logons. Is there a Type 3 driver
available for V2R6.1? Can JDBC Version 3.01 be used with V2R6.1?
