Effective with TTU8.0 there is no Type 3 driver. Consider switching your architecture to Type 4 since most vendors seem to be going this way,
but in the meantime:
Might be possible to pair old Type 3 JDBC driver with new CLIv2, but would not be supported.
TTU7.1 included a Type 3 driver, and current patch levels of TTU7.1 versions of TeraGSS and CLIv2 support encrypted logons to V2R6. That may be
your best bet.
