No, these are straight inserts (not imports).

We are using:

     SQLA 7.1.0.0
     ODBC 3.5.0.0

We'll try applying the patches on a test box - unfortunately, our packaging and deployment process has a lot of overhead so I'm not sure how quickly we could get the latest version out to the folks who have been impacted if those patches correct the issue.

We have also noticed that search & replace is slower in this version - could that be related to the Unicode change as well? Does anything need to be enabled in Windows XP? Typically, we have not supported Unicode on servers - I'm not sure about the desktop.
