Subj:   Re: Segmentation fault using perl, DBD-ODBC

From:   Dittrich, Klaus

Hi all,

we're now facing the same problem that already was mentionend here 2 months ago (Jun 2nd, by John Crum):

Using

- Perl 5.8.6

- Perl-DBI 1.46

- Solaris 8

- DBD::ODBC 1.13

- TTU 7.1

to connect to Teradata, everything worked fine, at least until we migrated to TTU 8.1.

The "connect"-call now leads to an immediate core dump, and there's no hint what's going wrong.

Did someone find a solution, or at least the reason for this problem, and it just wasn't shown here, or are there serious problems using TTU8.1 and Perl?

Thanks for any hint.

Klaus
