Thanks all for your help ...but the issue still remains as I said before...

I am able to load the data into the table using queryman but when I select the data it is in some other format ..

How do I see the data the same way as I see in the Unicode text file.

I have initialised 2 chinese character set in the DB . They are SCHGB2312_1T0 / TCHBIG5_1R0 ..

When I use Bteq to select

I tried by setting the Session Charset to both the above ones still I am not able to get the result.

In queryman the charset is UTF8 and tried the select, still it doesn't give me the same result as in the file.

Hope the only answer is not to export the data and converting it to some other format using other tools...

Any help would be of great assistance.
