Subj:   Loading Chinese Characters into the database

Hi All

I have a problem in loading the chinese characters into a table.

I have initialised the Chinese characterset in the DB and made a TPA reset as well.

I have created a table with just one column with its attribute as UNICODE.

The source for me is a UNICODE text file.

When I try to import the file using Bteq it gives me an error

     *** Growing Buffer to 65279
*** Error: Import data size does not agree with byte length.
                The cause may be:
                    1) IMPORT DATA vs. IMPORT REPORT
                    2) incorrect incoming data
                    3) import file has reached end-of-file.
     *** Warning: Out of data.

When I try to import the data using Queryman .. The data gets loaded but it is not the data which I loaded ..it looks like somekind of transformation has happened.

Can anyone pls let me know how to load the data and select it as well

Your help is much appreciated
