I didn't say fight. I LIKE duct tape. It's just I don't expect it to be very effective in plumbing or babysitting. The more possibilities the better, but then again, it's possible for a product to get featuritis. I think Teradata doesn't have to be everything to everybody. P'raps Multisets should be confined to the ANSI mode (Back, back, to the pit you were spawned from). I think for example, that ANSI mode interval calculations are... Painful at best. Why not just overload the normal operators, like Teradata has always done with date math. Of course, we they can also write the stuff so if YOU WANT to use difficult syntax, you can.

But then again, you do what you gotta do!
