Actually Windows XP SP2 firewall was the problem. I was tring to login to server version of Netvault from personal computer. When I turned off
the firewall, I was able to login successfully. Another solution provided is to add port 20031 UPD and following program exceptions in windows
firewall:
nvavp.exe
nvcoreplg.exe
nvgui.exe
nvlogdaemon.exe
nvmedmgr.exe
nvpmgr.exe
nvrepdbmngr.exe
nvsched.exe
nvstatsmngr.exe
