Do you mind me asking another question of you, based on your reply below to a previous post ..

.... We load 24/7, with heavy analytical queries mixed in with single amp tactical queries as well that drive several of our customer service applications (intra and internet based). ....

How do you handle your backup strategy in this environment, so that you still continue to load, and allow user applications and tactical queries to perform well, on a 24/7 basis?

Do you backup large tables while you continue to load to smaller ones? Or how are you approaching this?
