As has already been posted, SQL Assistant needs to know what string you are using to represent a Null. Simply specifying 2 delimiters with nothing between them does not imply a Null. (It might be an empty string in a VarChar column) If you are simply ommiting the value, then you need to set the 'Display this string for Null data fields' option, on the AnswerSet tab of the options screen, to an empty string. (Just highlight whatever is there and delete it. Do not type a space character.) If you are using another string/character (such as the word 'null') to indicate a null then enter that string/character instead. Contrary to a previous post the last value in an Import record can be a null. I have not checked whether it works with an empty string as the Null indicator, but it does work with other Null string indicators. (This did used to be a problem but it was fixed a few releases back.) Mike Dempsey
