 I agree with you, but when management says give the user SQL Assistant because they need it, it doesn't leave much choice.  I am trying to be
resourceful giving the options allotted me. Sometime as a dba, you are presented challenges that you need to handle to the best of your ability.   I use this site as somewhere that I hope
will give me ideas from other professionals.  I can already (and already have) given them 1,000 reasons not to allow users to use this tool, but
they do sign the checks :-)
