Can we customize Arcmain?

We'd like to introduce SQL logic into the mix to decide what does and does not get archived. For example, we want to archive only newly created tables nightly. Then we would do a full archive on the week-end.

We're on V2R3.

I don't think there's any way (certainly not in V2R3) to do this with native Teradata tools alone, but a half-competent Perl hacker with a minimal knowledge of Teradata could do it in about a day (yes, that describes me, but I'm not fishing for the job, just telling you who you should look for in-house to do it for you). Probably you could do it with shell scripting, but it'd be a lot harder.
