Yeah. All the marketechture stuff aside (Does it matter if you use the same tool to back up the OS and the data? If so, why?), you evaluate
NetVault versus straight Arcmain for cost and speed. Depending on your environment, you may find it cheaper at the available speeds to back up to
UNIX than to mainframe (probably so, but it does depend), and NetVault makes UNIX-based backups easier.
