Hi, PMON normally does not consume much cpu cycles. There can be overhead on Teradata if the session collection/logging rates are too low (say less than 100). I remember as the "Set Monitor Rates" option is present under the Tools menu. The collection/logging rates are specified in number of seconds. Also, implementation of Teradata Manager Server can be a good solution if there is need to run multiple PMON sessions. This eliminates the need for multiple PMON sessions connecting to the Teradata (Monitor Partitions) for realtime performance data. Pranav Sankar
