I believe the Parser uses all-amp sampling to build the stats internally when necessary. -------------------- end message --------------- I think the intent here is that When the Volatile table is materialized within the session, the Table header can not be modified it is just inhereted from the original Create Table statement. Therefore if the Original Create had the INDEXES that is fine. You just can't add Additional or Drop indexes after you materalize the table within your session context.
