Subj:   Re: Maximum Limits of Users in Warehouse

From:   Hough, David A

With 25,000 users we had about 3.5M accessrights rows, and we had blockages on the table as well. Never did figure out exactly why, but we started clearing out unused rights (dbc esp.) and things improved when we got below about 2M rows on a 26-node DBC1012 and 12-node 5100M. No stats more recent than that because of the archiving.

Today we have 4K users and 735K accessrights on a 10-node 5350. Response is good, and we hope to improve things with roles, but we have a system management issue with them. We're trying to figure out how to set roles up so they work with how we do system administration.
