The limit of 64K I refered to is only for Byte/VarByte data. (ie. for those using pre V2R5.1 systems.)
The limit of 1 MB is only for LOADING BLOB columns via SQL Assistant. (Even that limit can be circumvented if you have enough memory on your
PC and dont mind altering a registry entry.)
Blobs themselves can be up to 2GB, and SQL Assistant can download these columns to a local file ... if you are willing to wait for the data
transfer. (Applies to Windows NT/2000/XP - Win95/98 have much lower limits.)
