We installed the Teradata Demo software on a Windows 2000 server. The install went fine and we were able to access the database. We decided that a better evaluation of Teradata would be to move it to a faster computer. Our admin move the hard drive from one machine to the newer computer. The newer computer has the same machine name and IP Address as the original. The database starts without any problems. However, when we try to connect using the ETL Tools we get: "10065: WSA E HostUnreach: The Teradata server can't currently be reached over the network." We get this error regardless of trying to connect from a workstation or directly on the Server. The HOST has not changed from the original setup. Any ideas on the cause of this error?
