To the thought of using a seperate database to avoid JoinIndex problems, we're on v2r5.1.1.10 and ARCMAIN RELEASE: 07.01.00 but we notice that
ARCMAIN will not back up JoinIndexes. Perhaps a stopgap action to avoid problems until the ultimate fix ( possibly v2r6.1 )?? Anyway, we've used
JoinIndex for several months and have never really experienced any restore problems with tables having JoinIndexes so far.
