Can you mask the single quote character as in:

     Select
     '''1'',''2'',''4'',''3'',''5'','',6'',''7'',''8'',''9'''

?

What do you mean with you get the input from a variable? One variable that contains everything including single quotes? Several variables that you string together?

Maybe you could explain a little more of what you are doing? Using Dynamic SQL by any chance?
