<-- Anonymously Posted: Tuesday, November 16, 2004 17:28 --> I have created SQL that runs perfectly fine in Queryman but when I paste the same code into BTEQ (or do a BTEQ Export) I get an invalid date error. In my SQL I am pulling the date from the dbc.tvmfields.fieldstatistics and having it formatted as YYYY-MM-DD. This is the same date that when pasted into BTEQ gives me an error. If I format the same date now to look like DD-MMM-YYYY I do not get the error in BTEQ but now one in Queryman. Can someone help, I am hoping that there is a . setting in BTEQ that allows me to use the same date format no matter where I run the SQL. I don't want to have to have 2 sets of SQL that do the same thing. Thanks, P.S. Yes I know it is Teradata SQL Assistant now, just faster to type queryman.
