Hi, Glenn is almost certainly correct in that this problem is caused by skewed data. However, database DBC is as prone to skewed data as any other database. The Accessrights table is notorious for being skewed and as it can be quite large this can affect the space limits quite dramatically. To reduce this skewing you have to either clean up Accessrights - removing redundant rows - and/or convert to using Roles - and then remove the now redundant rows. The other table that can be very skewed is TransientJournal. In this case though the skewing is caused by the work that's running on the system. What it's showing is that one or more queries are doing lots of maintenance on typically a single AMP. You need to track that query down and tackle it like any other skewed processing. Cheers, Dave
