  I am new to this mail group and am looking for a way to query Teradata from a Mac running OS X.  


Coincidentally, I've attended earlier today a small presentation at a new Apple store near me and was surprised to learn how much Unix stuff was in the Mac OS. The presentation was really basic and did not cover RDBMS connectivity so I don't have ready answers. A search in the Forum's archives seems to suggest that Mac OS issues were not yet discussed here, which probably reflects the fact that not so many Mac users are using Teradata. The situation might change in the future, and it's good to see your question.


  I am running Apache/PHP and would like to be able to query our Teradata database to return results via the web.  


  What I am after is the Teradata ODBC driver compiled for OS X. If anyone has any experience with this or has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.  


I don't know whether NCR provide such a driver. They seem to be updating the contents of their web site this weekend so the search engine at Victor
