Shawn (or anyone) -

Using OleLoad utility, I'm getting throughput of about 100,000 records per minute copying an Oracle-based table to a Teradata server (V2R5.1).

When I copy a Teradata server-based table to our other Teradata server (both V2R5.1), the throughput is about 4 minutes per 100,000 records.

Why is it 4 times slower in the Teradata-to-Teradata scenario?
