Ganga,

You don't have to write any code because the OleLoad utility which comes with the Teradata OLE DB Access Module will create the FastExport script for you. To use it, first install the Teradata OLE DB Access Module. I think it comes on the same CD as the one from which you installed FastExport (if you are using TTU 7.1, this CD is labeled "Teradata Tools and Utilities Release 7.1 Load / Unload").

After installing this, click Start / Programs / Teradata Client / OleLoad. It should be straight-forward from there. Online help is available if needed. Write back and let us know how it goes, and what kind of performance you obtain. Use the "batch" option and the "ASCII" session character set for best performance, if they meet your needs.
