Hi Rob,

The script that you gave (below) is working and thank you very much for that. It is very close to my requirement. The only issue is that it is padding '0' before the column-value. I changed the format to 'ZZZZZZZZ9', and then it replaces the padded zero with spaces.

Output 1:

     0003186139,000073,001623,6208,000000
     0002536513,000017,000231,6246,000001
     0006464892,000006,000076,6664,000001
     0005036796,000001,000002,6246,000001
     0004072568,000283,003208,6010,000000

Output 2:

     3186139,    73,  1623,6208,     0
     2536513,    17,   231,6246,     1
     6464892,     6,    76,6664,     1
     5036796,     1,     2,6246,     1
     4072568,   283,  3208,6010,     0
