Have a look at your ResHost Read data to see if you have plateaus... If so, you are probably constrained by your network. But it could be any of the pieces in the chain that is causing the bottleneck, and generally requires a little investigation to optimize...

Before changing the switch settings I would recommend informing your Teradata Support folks so that they can ensure that the NICs in the system are compatible. It is generally better to have the NICs set to 10 or 100 than to use auto.
