We have an Ole_DB job, transferring data from Teradata to MS_OLAP cubes.

This job has 2 phases:

Query execution

Data Transfer

The data transfer has no problems, irrespective of how long it takes.

However, the query execution part seems to timeout consistently at exactly 3600 seconds - even with a timeout parameter of 7200 seconds. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Also, what kind of transfer rates are good? We seem to be peaking at approximately 250 KB per second --> that seems low to me.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.
