To reduce Disk I/O, the IO counts as seen in AMPUsage, compression is very effective. On a monthly basis we see approximately a 2% CPU growth. Normally one would expect to see an equivalent growth in logical IO count as reported in AMPUsage. However with implementation of compression we are seeing the expected normal growth in CPU with a gradual decline in AMPUsage LIO counts.
