But this is not the same as ML/FL checkpoints, it's splitting a query manually. The last select still must be done again.


  In addition to ML, checkpoints should now be readily available in the latest releases of FastLoad and FastExport. On earlier releases people had to do additional programming to use them.  


There have been checkpoints in FastLoad for years specifying a number of rows.
