My first impression is that you're trying to compare two completely different things. However, could you please tell me how slow the Teradata ODBC performed and the DDL of the target table.

I KNOW Oracle Inserts are normally faster than Teradata inserts using ODBC, since Oracle is design for that type of processing (OLTP) but I'm wondering if there are other factors affecting the regular Teradata ODBC performance.
