Does the frequent DELETE (daily at least once) from Teradata cause any issues? The DELETE will be a large set of data.

To make the point clear, we execute a SHRINK DATABASE command to free-up the space after doing the DELETE from SQL Server.

Do we need anything similar to that in Teradata?

Can anybody think of the side effects of frequent DELETE?
