We have a 4-node system running on 5380s. We upgraded several months ago and kept our memory at 2 Gig per node. Or performance since upgrading from 5300s and also to V2R5 has improved about 50%. We have had few issues with regard to performance. The only issues we have seen are periodic bugs that need to be fixed.

The current patch level we are at is:

We are still looking into upgrading to 4 Gig per node anyway, but so far so good. We also implemented Partitioning on about 15 tables and have had great success with that as well. Hope this helps.
