Queryman / SQLA will remove all unprintable characters in the range 0 through 31, with the exception of 13 (carriage return), but it will not remove any characters with values > 31. Most characters above 32 are visible - but that may depend on your code page. (In some code pages anything above 127 might be invisible.) Note that it does NOT remove unprintable characters within quoted strings however. (But I don't think that will cause the parser a problem.) If you generate a query that exhibits this behaviour could you please let me know the character value of the character causing the problem. (You would need to look at the SQL with a hex editor to do that.) Alternatively you could try to cut/paste it into an email ... But that may alter the characters. Mike Dempsey
