You can run Queryman/SQL Assistant in batch mode too, if you have version 6.1 or higher. (If not, it may be easier to upgrade than to instal BTEQ.) Look in the help file under 'startup parameters'. Basically you provide connect info (-c parameter) Input file (-f parameter) and output file (-e parameter) You would still need some tool to schedule the job - as you would for BTEQ - so I assume you must have one already. Alternatively, if your shop runs TDQM (Teradata Query Manager) you could install the TDQM client and use its built in scheduler. Mike Dempsey
