Subj:   Scheduling SQL jobs on my PC

From:   Akshay.Munshi

I need to schedule my SELECT SQL jobs that will extract small and medium size data results into a text file on my C drive. I have been able to write SQL statements that I can execute each week or month without changing any dates etc. I do all this thru Queryman. And that is the only tool I have on my pc.

I am not a poweruser of Teradata nor do we have much interaction with the DBA's, so I cant use server tools to execute queries and get my extract in text files.

I am thinking of requesting the IT folks here to install BTEQ and run SQL queries in batch modes. Any suggestions on doing this any other way?

Thanks in advance!

Akshay.
