Hello all ,

i am trying to load the data which is exported using fexp which is in record mode.

i have somewhere around 74 columns in my table with Char, Decimal , Date , Timestamp,and integer data types.

In the define statement ,i am changing the values of the error reported columns to char .

As communicated, i have changed the Value of the field xxxx from Decimal (11,2) to char(11) and now i am getting 2679 which says The format or data which contains a bad character.

In fload log file the rows are getting loaded to error table instead of target table .I have checked in the Error table and i get 2679 Error .

At the end of log file the following messages are getting displayed.

     Total Records Read              =  10000
     Total Error Table 1             =  10000
     Total Error Table 2             =  0  ---- Table has been dropped
     Total Inserts Applied           =  0
     Total Duplicate Rows            =  0
