Hello,

We are planning to migrate data from Oracle8i to Teradata and plan to use Informatica for this purpose. I am currently part of a team that has to make the decision as to whether to go with informatica for this purpose.

From what I have heard, people face a lot of problem when using Informatica and Teradata. Could anyone shed some light on this?

Our work is primarily to do some ETL work from Oracle to Teradata. What kind of problems can I anticipate when I use Informatica for this purpose. We have a license for Informatica 5.1.

Any info would be helpful.
