If you look at the dbc.sessioninfo table it tells you what the transaction session mode is (we have seen ANSI sessions (default for them
via CLI) from SAS), but you can only see this when they are logged on not retrospectively.
However I don't suggest that this is definitely the problem, as you say it my well be something entirely different. Have you raised it as
an incident to NCR/Teradata support?
