I appreciate the responses. Updated the Windows 2000 SCSI RAID drivers and that seemed to work (no system hangs) when the database is
configured with a single amp and a single drive partition. However, when we partitioned the same drive into 4 equal parts and configured
the database for 4 amps the system again locked up. We have applied the patches available on the web - TNT 5.0.0.18, PUT 2.0.4.15, etc.
NCR, after some wrangling, is overnighting us the 5.0.1 release that came out in late May. Again thanks for the help.
