FYI -
I posted a question earlier on getting V2R5 Installed on a Compaq Proliant Server. We finally got it installed. We were unable to use
the PUT install utility. System would reboot when ever we got to the disk configuration. We had to contact GSC and they got someone from
Rancho to help us.
He basically built the RAID configuration by hand then manually insalled V2R5 for us. Currently we are running fine on the Compaq
Proliant system using both a Internal SCSI and an external Fibre disk array.
I would recommend calling GSC and get in touch with a specialist that knows how to install V2R5 on non-NCR hardware.
