Hi,

I have been asked several times, why I posted information on Netezza to the Teradata forum.

My answer is, that I am a great believer in competition.

Competition drives the market place, creates innovation and lowers prices.

I also found the following article by IDC an interesting read, which mentions Wells Fargo who benchmarked Teradata and Netezza, and found Netezza to have "5 to 10 times processing speed improvements at a quarter of the price."
