Queryman allows you to specify whether you want the commas (or 'grouping' characters in other locals) displayed or not. This option is set (as a default for all Decimal/Float columns) on the AnswerSet tab of the Options screen.

You can also change the display (after the fact) by using the 'Format Cells' function.

The data is sent to ODBC in a Binary format... but the application can request the ODBC driver to return it in either binary encoded or character format, as they wish.
