Contact NCR and have them run the NPARC utility (i.e. Named Pipes Arcmain). Essentially on the Source Teradata system , you start a Arcmain DUMP into a named pipe. Second, you start a Arcmain Restore (or COPY) into the same named pipe on the SAME Teradata system but log onto the Target Teradata system.

Then the Restore "pushes" the data across the net to the target database(s). No tapes, no ESCON, do data landings. Very quick.
