You may need to check versions. If you are running on Win2K SP3 you have to be on Teradata version 2R4.1.3 or later or it will not run.
If you do not have at least 2R4.1.3 you will have to down-rev Win2K to SP2.
For instance if you are trying to install the original 2R4.1.0 you will see the pde message.
