Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this problem we are encountering while installing Teradata for Windows 2000 (version 4.1) on a Dell server? We are using PUT and have selected the "SMP Express" setup option and go through the process. On one of the final steps called "Start RDBMS" we receive an error message of "(localhost) PDE status : cannot locate node global file".

Does anyone have any ideas? Might there be any way to manually copy this file to its proper location or work-around this problem?
