Geof,
I think it still remains to be seen whether or not to leave Query Logging active. Like access logging, it has its overhead in terms of
both space and cycles. However, you should realize that access logging had no where near the impact that we originally feared. I'd expect
sql log (for objects) to be less intense than access logging.
Just using query logging with the "with objects" clause won't be as resource intensive as logging all, but you may want to experiment
with limits. In any case, you'll need to reduce and remove the log rows from the dbqlobjtbl periodically.
The bottom line is nothing's free; if object access accounting is important to you, you'll need to assess the resource commitment that it
requires and plan for it.
