  If the utility is run using Teradata Tools And utilities 6.2 or higher then you'll get the client program name as well (e.g. Mload.exe if it's run from a Windows platform).  



I once submitted a request to add the Partition name to DBC.EventLog for successful logon events. This would at least tell you whether a certain session was DBC/SQL, MLOAD, etc. I don't know whether that request actually made it through our bureaucracy to NCR.
