Hi,

We presently use the FastLoad / Insert - Select method of data loading, as we perform transformations on Teradata before loading the data into the production tables.

We have never used Multiload, as we was advised not to.

Only recently we have been looking at optimising the warehouse for query performance, and therefore we have started to look into adding secondary indexes.

At present we would only like to add one secondary index to one of our largest tables, which we have proven in test will be used by the queries to a positive affect.

Unless we can overcome the performance problem of using secondary indexes, we will have to continue not to use them.
